Un gol di Donati alla fine del primo tempo era abbastanza per sfondare la Vecchia Signora Juventus dei giocatori compari di Lippi come Del Piero, Chiellini e Marchisio. Il Bari ha iniziato bene con grande stile. " I giocatori del Bari si sono scatenati contro la Juventus sin dall'inizio della partita. " dice FPG. La squadra pugliese ha saputo mantenere il gioco con un superiore possesso di palla. La Juve ha reagito dopo aver ricevuto il gol di Donati ma non ha riuscito a pareggiare. E' stato il Bari che ha anche sfiorato il 2 - 0 con una grande manovra di Alvarez. La Juve tenta nel finale ma il Bari con un pizzico di fortuna riesce a portarsi i 3 punti meritati.
